Brian Rowe, MBA, PMP - President

Educational Background: Purdue University, B.S. Financial Planning, MBA
Brian Rowe has over 10 year experience implementing Information Technology solutions and e-businesses. He started developing Internet based applications in 1990 programming in C. Since then he has been the Project Manager for various programs with annual budgets between $10m-$20m. As Director of e-Business at Cummins Engine Company, Brian started 6 online businesses and won the CIO Magazine's 50 best Intranets award during his tenure. Brian lead a team at SourceAlliance.com to develop a Distributed Storefront online retail offering, and he was responsible for its profitable operation. He was also the COO of Redtrain, a Software Service consultancy, which he co-founded and led profitably for 2 years. Both revenue and Net Income more than doubled in the second year for Redtrain. With a background that bridges both technology and business, Brian will contribute to sales & marketing as well as software development. He is responsible for defining the product roadmap.


Dan Hanrahan - Vice President, Partnerships

Educational Background: Indiana University, B.S Entrepreneurship
With over 7 years experience at Brooksource, an IT staffing firm, Dan has proven his abilities to build a profitable operation from scratch. As the first employee of Brooksource, Dan worked closely with Ryan and Jeff to build the largest Indiana headquartered IT staffing agency consisting of 100 employees and over $20m in revenue. After successfully developing and passing off two territories in Indianapolis, Dan spent the next three years launching new branches in Cincinnati, OH and then Nashville, TN. Over three years, he hired a team of 15 sales people and 14 recruiters who helped both Cincinnati and Nashville to become profitable within year one. Of the 8 Brooksource branches, these two markets are the only offices that can make that claim. He leads his sales force by example and is equally comfortable managing or selling.

Dan will be responsible for driving sales, building the sales team and engaging channel partners for Last Piece Software. Additionally, he will drive technical recruiting efforts.


Matt Brown - Vice President, Development

Educational Background: Wabash College, B.A. Mathematics
Matt Brown has over 10 years of software development experience in a variety of industries using numerous platforms and languages. He started writing cgi binaries on C on Unix for health care admissions. He became fluent in Java from version 1.1 writing and designing applications in the travel, mortgage lending, and insurance industries. He was an early adopter of the .Net languages starting with the 1.0 release. During this time he has led teams of 5 to 15 developers, using processes ranging from traditional waterfall to scrum and XP. Matt's experience in all areas of development will allow him to focus on the architecture, design and implementation of the Company's products.
